Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next-generation hyperscaler cloud that supports the most demanding mission-critical customer requirements, and operates at cloud scale to provide a secure, distributed, and multi-tenant cloud environment.
You will be joining a team focused on helping Oracle's top customers transform their business by acting as a liaison between the Oracle engineering, sales, and leadership team, and the customer. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, business partners, and sales teams, and directly with customers as an evangelist for OCI. You will interact directly with customer leadership, up to the executive level. By leveraging your industry knowledge and experience in networking, computing, Storage, AI/ML, and/or containers, you will become a trusted advisor for our key customers and help guide them on their journey to OCI.
As a Consulting Member of Technical staff, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by working closely with the sales team, customers, and OCI engineering teams to design and propose cloud-based solutions tailored to our client's needs. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and excellent communication skills to influence and guide customers on their cloud journey. The people in this role need to be as adept at customer engagement as they are at the technology.
You will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading technical/functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Act as a technical resource and mentor. Focus on large or complex customer scenarios that need creative and complex solutions. Lead any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

• Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
• Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
• Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.
• Work closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and Oracle cloud solution features.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers including proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot projects.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to customers.
• Design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture and clearly articulate business value - vision, capability models and assessments, and technical cloud solution architecture - current and future state, solution best practices, migration strategies, and operational excellence frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional teams of Oracle subject matter experts to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
• Work closely with the OCI internal engineering leadership to identify improvements and features for existing services to help customer scenarios.

Responsibilities
Have at least 10+ years of technology and industry experience and 5+ years selling technology and cloud-based services.
4+ years of working experience with modern Cloud Platforms - Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in similar customer-facing roles like pre-sales solution architect roles, with a focus on enterprise cloud solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Have worked with the enterprise customers in a technical role to successfully build customer-specific cloud vision, architectures, and adoption strategies.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Versed in enterprise architecture and technology and ability to clearly articulate business architecture (vision, capability models, capability assessments) and technical architecture (current and future state capabilities, strategic roadmaps, solution best practices, reference architectures, and design patterns).
Experience with Oracle technologies like Oracle Database, Exadata, Oracle cloud platform services (Integration, security, analytics), and the enterprise applications like Oracle E-Business, Peoplesoft, JDE, and Non-Oracle applications like SAP and other ERPs are a bonus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are desirable.

US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
