VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Full-Stack Developer, Backend (Platform)Minimum Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degreeAbility to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ or CISSP within 6 months of hire
Experience:3+ years of experience developing web services against big data technologies, using Java, C#, or Python3+ years of experience with development using Java Spring and Spring Security2+ years of experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher2+ years of experience deploying Kubernetes within a platform or cloud offerings, including GCP, AWS, or Azure2+ years of experience with automation tools, including SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet2+ years of experience with Helm and TerraformExperience developing web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, and a framework, including Angular, React, or VueTS/SCI level Clearance required.
Additional Qualifications Desired:Experience with AWS or AzureExperience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or SeleniumExperience with distributed computing frameworks, such as Apache SparkExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with machine learning frameworksDoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ or CISSP
Job Description:As a back-end developer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We're looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.As a back-end developer, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you'll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems. Applies specific functional knowledge; working/general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees.Essential Duties of the Job:Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
