DescriptionAre you passionate about collaborating with a team of builders who own and operate a service that connects satellites to the cloud? A Software Development Engineer with AWS supports the development and delivery of key features as we innovate for our customers. On our team you will use your expertise to:- Design systems that ensure all parts of the service operate effectively with each other.- Collaborate with peers to evaluate requirements and technologies that close the gap between customer needs and service functionality.- Identify opportunities for optimization to make the service more efficient and cost effective.- Share your knowledge as you help mentor and coach other developers on our team.This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilitiesAmazons vision is to be the worlds most customer-centric company, and this role is key to that vision. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
