Job DescriptionCreate an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Monitor all established quality assurance standards. Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Clean Team. Responsible for the execution of best practices, goals and established standards for the Clean Team. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.Responsibilities- Promote trust and respect among associates - Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates - Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated - Display a positive attitude - Gain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standards - Monitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needs - Maintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventory - Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair - Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner - Manage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverage - Understand the store-s layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers - Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines - Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store management - Notify management of customer or employee accidents - Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud - Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organization - Ensure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standards - Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports - Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines - Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationQualifications Minimum - Ability to handle stressful situations - Flexibility - Knowledge of basic math - Effective communication skills Desired - Any retail experience - Any sanitation/janitorial experience - Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing)About UsBased in Colorado, King Soopers merged with The Kroger Company in 1983.
