This position provides is responsible for handling and picking orders for next day delivery and providing back up for the supervisor.
Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 7:00pm - 5:30am (end times will vary due to seasonality and could be as late as 7:00am; flexibility in the morning is a must)
Responsibilities:
Accurately locating and picking beer and liquor products for ordersBuilding correct pallet orders with picked beer productsAssemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or conveyor rollersUse voice picking program to ensure speed and accuracy when picking beer productsDrive riding pallet jacks and forkliftsActs as backup for supervisor when neededTrains new hires on proceduresEvaluates warehouse worker performance as well as resolves issuesProvides safety training to new and existing staff as well as enforce safety rules and regulationsWorks with management int resolving deficiencies and complaintsSkills and Abilities:
Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks is preferred but not required3rd shift experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work with minimal supervision; self- motivatedStrong attention to detail and problem solving skillsExperience with forklifts is preferred but not required; ability to get forklift certified requiredBilingual candidate preferredPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 160 pounds on an occasional basisWalk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
