What We're Looking For
The Warehouse Associate I position requires picking bulk materials for production, picking finished goods for delivery to customers, stocking shelves, general maintenance and other warehouse related duties.
What You Will Do
•Stock raw material goods from receiving
•Pick raw material goods per production plan and deliver to designated areas within the warehouse
•Stock finished good material from production to designated shelves
•Process returns from internal and external customers
•Process and complete orders according to customer requirements
•Prior to product shipment, count all products, compare to packing slip, and check all shipments for damage, infestation and expiration dates
•Report shortages, damages and miss picks on appropriate forms and inform Warehouse Supervisors of the corrections needed
•Check contents of all orders
•Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer's order to insure outgoing shipments are complete and correct
•Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
•Follow PCCA's Standard Operating Procedures
•Assists with related special/miscellaneous projects, as required
Who You Are
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
•Prior experience in a warehouse environment
•Ability to effectively communicate
•Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
•Excellent organizational, interpersonal and math skills
•Must be detail oriented and a self-starter
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
•Ability to work overtime with short notice
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Entry level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the Internet
•MFG-PRO/AIM-warehouse management systems and RF scanner experience preferred
•Warehouse logistics and forklift experience
Physical Requirements
•This position requires daily standing, bending, reaching
•Must be capable of lifting up to but not limited to 75lbs
•Ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
•Ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
•Bending legs downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
•Moving about on foot to accomplish task, particularly for long distances.
•Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
•Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
•Using upper extremities to exert force in order to move objects in a sustained motion.
•Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving object horizontally from position to position.
•Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
