Delivery Driver
to facilitate the movement of goods and product in a safe and productive manner. Drive company trucks while providing a positive image through on-time delivery and customer service.
Shift:
Full-time hours, Tuesday-Friday 8:00 am - completion of daily route
*Eligible for $1000 signing bonus after a 90-day probationary period.
Responsibilities:Follow and understand verbal directions from management while carrying out tasks in a productive and safe manner.Follow all company safety proceduresWork and communicate with fellow workers and management in an effective, positive manner to assure the completion of assigned tasks.Requirements
1-2 years of professional driving experiencePossess a clean driving recordNon-CDL Class B licenseDrug/Alcohol free according to D.O.T. requirementsPass D.O.T. physical and/or possess current D.O.T. medical cardMust be organized and possess good communication skillsMust be able to work up to10 hours per dayAbility to recognize and distinguish product is essentialMust be able to deliver loads in excess of 250 cases and complete in excess of 20 route stops per dayMust be able to complete proper documentation of invoices according to Company policies and standardsPhysical Requirements include but are not limited to:The ability to work at heightsLong periods of sitting standing, bending and heavy liftingAbility to lift single cases weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and for long durations of timeThe ability to handle a 2-wheeler with up to 250 pounds maximum weight up and down stairs and in tight quartersMust be physically able to do repeated entry and exit of truck cab and box during the course of the dayFunctions necessary to complete the above listed requirements of job description:
