Tyndale House Publishers is looking for an individual to work full-time hours in Distribution. Qualified candidates will be a vital part of the Truck Orders, Shipping, and Repackaging teams of the North and South Warehouses. Tasks include efficiently and accurately pick, pack and ship parcel and freight orders, replenish stock throughout areas of Distribution as well as execute purchase orders and inventory related projects. Other tasks include pulling and staging pallets of products as requested by various areas and transport stock between facilities using company straight trucks. The right candidates must possess the aptitude to comfortably and safely operate various equipment upon completion of hands-on training. Equipment includes order pickers, electric and gas forklifts, automatic stretch wrappers, shrink-wrapping equipment and more.
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be proficient in reading and speaking English. Computer and technology skills or aptitude are required. Must have the ability to solve basic math problems. Candidates should be quick learners, flexible, and attentive to details, have the ability to perform complex functions, have a good and consistent work ethic, be able to work well with others in a team environment, and accept delegated authority. Job requires that candidates be able to walk, stand, pull, and lift an average of 50lb. cases. Work hours are M-F from 8 a. m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime. Forklift driving experience preferred. Forklift driving aptitude required. $16/hour with full-time benefits.
