We are seeking a highly-skilled, professional technical manager to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you will oversee all technical matters department and manage our software projects between Westlake technology team and offshore team. You will work collaboratively with clients/users, the development team, various stakeholders within the company and offshore development and QA team to ensure the delivery of all products in an efficient, timely manner.
Technical Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlinesDelegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete themMaking effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the projectServing as a point of contact for teams (including offshore teams) when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergyCommunicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goalsPerforming quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expectedAdjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changeCreate and document the software requirement and specs and conduct the JAD session with development and business teamsTwo to three meetings of each week are required between US and offshore teamEscalating the issues and helping to remove the roadblocks for offshore teamTechnical Project Manager Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related fieldSolid working knowledge of Database and SQLUnderstand the Use cases and user storiesMinimum of 1 years’ experience in project managementAbility to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentExceptional communication and reporting skillsSolid working knowledge in all required software and programming languagesOutstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectivelyWhat’s the expected pay for this role?
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearThe exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.What do we offer?
