Job Description

The IT Project Manager supports the definition and successful completion of IT projects to include: requirements gathering, requirements documentation, systems testing, project plan creation, task assignments, project leadership, project schedule maintenance, and project status communication. This role includes the creation and maintenance of a portfolio of existing and potential projects.Create plans using a WBS, task dependencies, schedules, and critical path.Work with other team members to define and estimate tasks, collect task completion status, maintain the schedule, and communicate project status to the project team and management.Lead projects using agile methodologies including the facilitation of sprint meetings.Create and maintain system roadmaps, project plans, and product and release backlogs that will be the basis for the project work.Collect high-level requirements from the Product Owner and communicate them to the Agile team.Work together with the team to develop and estimate user stories and establish acceptance criteria which will specify expected functionality for a user story, as well as any non-functional requirements that must be met in the development of the story.Gather and document requirements for projects.Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and prototyping sessions where needed.Produce requirements documentation appropriate for the project management methodology being used.Perform systems analysis and create systems design alternatives for projects that include new applications, enhancements to existing systems, and system integration projects.Assist in the development of data models, interface element mapping, and systems testing when requiredQualifications

Bachelor's Degree requiredPMP certification requiredDue to the nature of the contract, the position requires US citizenship statusMinimum 5 years of IT Project Management Experience5 years of project management experience leading Agile development teams5 years of experience requirements gathering, requirements workshop facilitation, and requirements documentation5 years of experience performing systems analysis including systems design, testing, and integrationExperience with MS Project preferred
