Summary:
The Partition Trainee is an entry level Panel Finishing Cell and Solid Finishing Operations. Responsibilities include inspecting for quality discrepancies and preparing components for customer delivery. Must be able to follow verbal instructions in English and function in a team-oriented, continuously improving environment where safety is the number one priority. Overtime work may occasionally be necessary.

the following, other duties may be assigned) Follow all safety rules and regulations. Understanding of Bobrick's 4 Grade Quality System. Ability to distinguish and explain between levels of defect. Follow and maintain all aspects of quality. Follow rules of engagement. Opens bales, crates and other containers of packing materials. Communicates with the Partition shop, Supply Chain (scheduler) and the Shipping department regarding orders, hardware and inventory. Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Operates tape machine to secure packages/pallet. Uses pallet banding and wrapping equipment to package components for shipment. Operates miter saw to modify packing material and checks and completes paperwork prior to shipment. Learn entry level in operation of panel finishing machine. Learn entry level in operation of Hot Press Learn entry level in operation of Glue Spreader Willingness to work an Alternate Shift. (Monday -Thursday 7:00pm-5:30am) Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Capable of using routers, files and other shop equipment as directed and trained. Some shop or industrial woodworking, cabinetry or CNC familiarity experience are a plus. Must be able to organize own work and determine sequences of operations. Must be able to read a tape measure. Effective communications. Meet work demands and deadlines. Safe operation of all machines. Ability to troubleshoot issues. Knows and follows all quality checks. Policy understanding and communications. Benefits:
