The Opportunity:Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. We're looking for an architect who can create solutions for our DoD client that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.As a Cybersecurity Zero Trust Architect on our project, you'll lead the architecture and design efforts of innovative cybersecurity solutions and service offerings to protect federal government networks. You'll coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT security needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll lead the team through a critical approach to security architecture design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating cybersecurity technologies and solutions, including IoT, OT, and Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration (A&O), identity and access management, conditional based access, attribute-based access control, and micro-segmentation. The world can't wait.You Have:7+ years of experience with IT operations or cybersecurity supporting DoD agencies7+ years of experience leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizationsExperience architecting Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero Trust StrategyExperience leading product selection initiatives, including automation and orchestration, visibility and analytics, secure DevOps, identity and access management, conditional based access, attribute-based access control, or micro-segmentationAbility to work with and guide senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO, and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturationAbility to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high quality implementation plans and roadmapsAbility to author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and conceptsSecret clearanceHS diploma or GEDSecurity+ CE CertificationNice If You Have:Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership roleExperience with shipboard IT and security systemsExperience with innovative cybersecurity capabilities, including A&O, AI and machine learning, NGFW, and Big DataExperience with AWS, Azure, Oracle, or GCP Cloud architectures and designsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsTS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
