Backend Engineer:

ROLE - Backend Engineer: Location: Bentonville, AR - hybrid Duration: 6 months - to be extended No. of Positions: 6 Maximum Submissions per Supplier: 12 Must have min 9 years of genuine work experience. Description: Job Duties: - Develops innovation strategies, processes, and best practices. - Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects. - Supports and ensures business objectives being met. - Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design. - Leads the work of other small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned Engineering projects - Leads and participates in end to end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, and orchestration. - Designs and implements low latency services. - Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. - Troubleshoots business and production issues. Skills Needed/Required: - Java Springboot, Data structures, Azure cloud, SQL/Cosmos - Strong inclination towards exploring and learning new technologies - Minimum 6 Yrs of experience in the relevant area - Experience in large scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures - Experience and fluency with relational / non-relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of performance, scalability, and system architecture with an eye toward avoiding and reducing technical debt. Additional Job Details: Fully Remote is not an option. Resource should be in office 2 days per week.
