Job Type: CONTRACT, HYBRID

Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hr on W2

As a member of engineering team, the person will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and socializing the infrastructure strategy and design for Payment and Merchant Services Technology.With partnership with many other teams, Architect has end-to-end accountability of technology design, engineering, implementation, DevOps, and Support for Payment and Merchant Services Technology.Payments and Merchant Services technologies are one of the core capabilities of the bank's business platforms. It is critical in nature from the perspective of business functionalities, large transaction volumes and complex design.

Day to day activities include, but not limited to the following:Leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities.Establishes input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of total system. Viewed as a technology subject matter expert; able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors. Will have responsibility for multiple, complex projects.Responsible for the application infrastructure architecture must have high availability, Load balance, resiliency, scalability of web infrastructure to meet corporate LOB objectivesIdentifying technical requirements for new projects like Hardware requirements, server's operating system, Authentication and Authorization security, IIS configurations, Firewall connectivity, Load Balancer settings, DNS registrations, security severity, application dependencies, databases, scheduled jobs, and content replicationAddressing production issues and troubleshooting applications incidents of any Priority1 / Priority2 and Priority3 incidentsManaging team, assign / review the project's design, requirements, workflow, and documents with the team and working closely with multiple teams for implementationCreating design documents, technical documents, deployment documents and share with deployment and production support teamsIdentifying risk associated with LOB applications and escalation to senior management and providing solutions to mitigate risks3 - 5 years of experience in design and engineering solutions for large business capabilities - Expertise in Payment and Merchant Services capabilities are A+Expert experience and knowledge in design and engineering of applications hosted at external cloud such as Azure and AWS - not a must have but this requirement is priorityEffective Communication - Clear, Concise and the ability to articulate ideasShould be able to lead and actively participate in conference calls with technical and business usersFlexible to work in different shifts, including rotational night shift and weekend supportExperience in Application Lifecycle Management Automation tools and integration using one or more of the following tools: Ansible by Red Hat, Jenkins or XLRWorking knowledge/expertise with JIRA, NEXUS and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)Exposure and familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile)Candidate must be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, able to work with little supervision and a responsible team-playerWilling and able to work in a 24 X 7 environment including after hours and weekend support to support multiple time zonesComputer networking skills and working knowledge: Load balancers, firewall, etc.Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology or equivalent educationUnderstanding/experience with web application communication protocols - SOAP, HTTP, XML etcWorking knowledge of application setup, support, and configurationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Multiple years of demonstrated experience in Systems Administration or Systems Engineering.2+ years in a technical position using Cloud technologiesKnowledge of Oracle and/or SQL databasesLinux (RHEL, CentOS) experienceDeep understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux, with demonstrated hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains:Need Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, NetworkingMonitoring, alerting and logging tools, and build/release processes highly preferred
