will work within our Operating Room, which features 10 fully equipped surgical rooms, 2 special procedure room serving pediatric patients of all acuity levels. Apply today!Position Summary:The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual informationEducation/Experince:A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievementPatient care experience in a pediatric health care setting preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or other healthcare related certification OROne year of experience in a clinical setting, providing patient care ORAn external candidate enrolled in an approved BSN program ORCurrent JHACH employee enrolled in either an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing Practice.Current AHA BLS Certification
