Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology and Data - Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY, Iselin, NJ, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract position.Responsibilities:
Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across EngineeringConsult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinkingProvide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Engineering business solutionsStrategically engage with client personnelWork with the Product, Architecture, and engineering teams to drive the design and implementation of new and enhanced capabilities that ensure successful delivery against critical commitmentsWork with analysts to understand requirements, produce architectural artifacts, detail designs and work with engineers to drive implementationIn addition to CDD, this individual will need to understand the Fin Crimes landscape to ensure the proposed solutions align with the overall strategic vision of the Fin Crime domain
Requirements:
7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, educationBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldSubject matter expertise in Financial Crimes, Customer Due Diligence, Corporate Risk, and our ComplianceSubstantial experience working with data and data technology, particularly Customer dataDemonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testingProven experience in software development, with a focus on Cloud applicationsHands-on experience in Kafka, Microservices, APIs, Analytics, Batch and Realtime Data processingExperience with one or more CI/CD and Automation tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle, Maven, MSBuild, NPM, SonarQube, Artifactory, Harness CD & GitOps, IBM uDeploy, AnsibleUnderstanding one or more of the following tools and technologies: PowerBI, Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB, SQL serverWorking experience in designing, architecting applications for deployment into one or more cloud (GCP, Azure, PCF/Tanzu) environmentsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong technical skills and acumenKnowledge of modern architectural paradigms, including service-orientation and cloud enablementExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and mentor junior engineersStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to function well in a large, matrixed organization
