PostgreSQL DBAThe ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship.Must have skills:10+ years of PostgreSQL DBA experiencePostgreSQL replication experienceSQL coding and tuning experienceShell scripting and automation experiencePostgreSQL PGAdmin client connectivity tool experienceAWS/Cloud Services experience: EC2, RDS, and AuroraCloud deployments experience: Jenkins, Bitbucket, TerraformHands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DB tasks experienceStrong troubleshooting/performance tuning skillsAbility to assess and improve SQL performanceUnderstanding of PostgreSQL's underlying storage enginesAbility to Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessaryExpert level PostgreSQL RDBMS installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring skills with hands-on experience in -large and very dynamic environmentsStrong commitment to following SDLC/Change-Management principlesSelf-starter and be able to perform work with minimal supervisory directionKnowledge of data quality, data management, and data testing strategies and practicesStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong experience working with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Zenoss or any other monitoring tool, Cloud monitoring tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail), AppDynamics (or similar APM tool)Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to accommodate flexible work schedulesDesired skills:Ability to diagnose problems and triage/resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server, or storage tiers)Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, scripts, cron, or other techniquesExperience in DB2 UDB, Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and/or Cassandra is plusExperience with configuration management tools: SCCM; Puppet; or Ansible.Development or enhancement of training and upskilling programsBachelor's Degree or similar required
