The Med-Surg RN will report to an experienced Medical Surgical Services Team and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for all assigned inpatients. Working closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams, the Medical Surgical Nurse will ensure the delivery of safe and effective care. The RN will have the autonomy to provide care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and will collaborate with the unit manager, facility director, and other healthcare professionals to maintain high-quality patient care during brief inpatient stays. This role also includes involvement in patient discharge planning and educating patients and their families for a smooth discharge process.
