As a Senior AWS Cloud Architect you will spearhead our cloud strategy, DevOps practices, and test automation efforts. This role will be crucial in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions while leading our DevOps and test automation teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience, at least 7 years with AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools, as well as a strong understanding of security compliance standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.2. 8+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AWS and cloud technologies.3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification.4. Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and VPC.5. Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).6. Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).7. Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).8. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.9. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).10. Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST).11. Excellent communication skills and experience working with offshore teams.12. Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.13. Strong understanding of windows server administration and active directory.Preferred Qualifications
Additional AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty).2. Experience in the healthcare or benefits administration industry.3. Familiarity with .NET technologies and SQL databases.4. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).5. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of cloud-based applications.6. Experience with on-prem to AWS cloud migration.
