Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets.**About this role**The **Technical Support Engineer** will be responsible for Tier Three technical support Engineer and will be part of a highly skilled team that supports to the ALC dealer network. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to hardware, and software products through both online and phone-based support. Additionally, the Technical Support Engineer will contribute to product development by offering feedback to the documentation and training teams, conducting final product checkouts, and participating in beta testing.This is a **hybrid role** based out of the **Kennesaw, GA facility** , with three days in the office and two days working from home.**Key Responsibilities**+ Provide expert-level technical support for Automated Logic hardware, and software products+ Collaborate with other engineers in a team-oriented environment)to resolve complex technical issues+ Deliver feedback to Documentation and Training teams to improve product and user materials+ Conduct final checkouts of new products before release to ensure quality and functionality+ Participate in beta testing and contribute to the ongoing development of products+ Assist the Training department with content delivery and support**Basic Qualifications**+ Bachelor's degree+ 2 plus years of experience in a technical support role OR with hardware and software products**Preferred Qualifications**+ Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology+ Relevant Technical certification+ Experience in a Tier Three technical support role+ Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues+ Knowledge of networking, control systems, and automation+ In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals+ Basic knowledge of database fundamentals+ Ability to create, review, and edit technical documentation+ Experience with Linux and HVAC systems+ English communication skills, both written and verbal+ Able to convey complex technical information clearly+ Experience working collaboratively within a team+ Commitment to continuous learning and professional development through training programs+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionRSRCAR#LI-hybrid**Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
