Business Analyst
to join their direct lending team.Salary/Hourly Rate:Up to $115,000 base + bonusPosition Overview:This individual will provide analytical and project support to our non-investment activities, focusing on financial forecasting, strategic modeling, and business development. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the capital markets function, monitoring portfolio performance, and assisting with investor relations. This Business Analyst is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
Maintain financial forecasting models and support strategic decision-making processes
Analyze new business opportunities, conduct competitor research, and provide insights for business development initiatives
Perform capital structure analysis and track capital markets activities across the portfolio
Provide ongoing portfolio monitoring, including supporting monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investor relations and other non-investment activities
Assist in creating presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support various strategic projects
Qualifications for the Business Analyst:
2 to 4 years of experience in equity research, credit research, or a financial analyst role, preferably within private equity or financial services
Strong background in finance, accounting, and capital markets with a solid understanding of leveraged finance
Proficiency in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and business development support
Excellent analytical, technical, and writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top undergraduate institution is required
