Senior Buyer
to join their team in a permanent role. We have a compelling opportunity for you to join a leading automotive manufacturer in a permanent role. Do you have strong strategic purchasing experience in the automotive industry?
Senior Buyer Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Create and execute effective procurement strategies tailored to assigned projects, aligning with overall company goals and project requirements.Manage Supplier Relationships and Negotiate Contracts: Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable contract terms, and ensure suppliers meet performance and quality standards.Ensure Timely Delivery of Materials and Services: Oversee the supply chain to guarantee that materials and services are delivered as scheduled and meet project specifications, addressing any issues proactively.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with engineering, production, and project management teams to support project objectives, ensuring seamless integration of procurement activities.Monitor Project Budgets and Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities: Track and manage project budgets, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement strategies to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery standards.Senior Buyer Mandatory Skills:
Proven Track Record as a Project Buyer: Demonstrated success in a senior buyer role, particularly within the automotive industry, with a history of effective procurement and supplier management.Knowledge of the Automotive Industry: Strong understanding of automotive sector requirements and challenges, and how they impact procurement and supply chain processes.Strong Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced setting while maintaining high performance and adaptability.Geographic Flexibility: Must be located in or willing to relocate to Greenville, SC, with the ability to work on-site and integrate with the local team.Senior Buyer Educational Background:
