Data Operations Engineer , you will use cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing
Responsible for working with integration teams and source applications for pipelines failures related to bad data, data repairs or non availability of dataPrimary point of contacts for user queries and issues related to the data movement queries related to the pipelines being supported.Monitor the EDW production and non-production batch jobsReview any existing production support dashboards currently availableTrack and maintain support issues, open ADOsReview job logs, troubleshoot and triage job failures, identify resolution for failed instancesPerform proactive monitoring activities to continually maintain and improve the knowledge base and runbooksSupport system maintenance activities for known events (releases, maintenance, upgrades, etc.) and engage in planning activities for these eventsFollows communication plan with end-users and various stakeholders being supported as part of the Operations supportEscalate issues in timely manner to source system teams, ETL senior devs, or partner teams (e.g. DBA, Pipeline, Infrastructure).Acknowledge and triage incidents as agreed in the MTTA/MTTR metrics with the stakeholdersProfile of SuccessExperience in designing and optimizing ETL architecturesProficiency in Ab Initio and other ETL toolsStrong skills in SQL, data modeling, and cloud technologiesExperience in leading data engineering/migration engagementsExpertise in performance tuning and optimizing data workflows
