Company Overview
By Light is hiring a Network Engineer Level IV to join our team. This position will provide NetOps support to the JNOC, developing engineering, recommend design solution hardware and software solutions, and conduct cybersecurity mitigations on design solutions to comply with RMF cybersecurity requirements. Support will be provided Monday-Friday, 8 hours, between the core hours of 0630-1730.Responsibilities
Ensure proper routing protocols are being applied to optimize the end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN), through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN), to a Storage Area Network (SAN), or a data center.
Assist the government with identifying any derived design objectives, technical specifications, performance requirements, and interoperability specifications to ensure the system design will meet stakeholder end-to-end requirements.Develop, review, and update briefings, papers, or spreadsheets in support of this task.Required Experience/Qualifications
Extensive experience and professional certification with architecting, designing, testing, troubleshooting, and implementing interior gateway protocols (IGP), external gateway protocol (EGP), Multi-protocol Label and Switching (MPLS), Virtual Routing & Forwarding (VRF), Network Function Virtualization (NFV)/Service Chaining, and Software Defined Networking (SDN) on an enterprise network to meet security, performance, operational, and functional requirements.CCNP RS and CCNP Security (One could be waived with experience)Special Requirements/Security Clearance
Top Secret required with ability to obtain SCI#jcse
