SOFTWARE ENGINEER | REMOTE (CST) The Select Group is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join one of our top Healthcare Technology partners to support their Reconciliation ledger Project, part of the company's strategic application integration initiative. This project is crucial to streamlining operations following the acquisition of two smaller companies last years.
SOFWARE ENGINEER MINNIMUM REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of software engineering experience Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience working with EDI interfaces, such as 835(X12) 3+ years of experience building web-based applications 5+ years of experience in VB.Net / C# and the .NET Framework 3+ years of experience in SQL on MS SQL Server Professional experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular 4 OR ABOVE / jQuery) Experience building web-based applications (ASP.NET forms / MVC) and RESTful APIs Deploying service-oriented and microservices architectures Deploying applications in the public cloud using technologies - AWS highly preferred Experience with Agile methodology
Bonus skills:
Experience in .NET Core Experience with a microservices architecture Experience with AWS Glue, Microsoft SSRS, and/or VB.Net
SOFTWARE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Role will primarily involve new development, but will have some light bug fixes as part of responsibilities Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and plan products and features Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software Assist in providing technical leadership for the architecture, design, and implementation of Omnicell software solutions Aid in code reviews for fellow team members, as required Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application's life cycle Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources once deployed Continue to improve code quality by tracking, reducing, and avoiding technical debt Work on production support tickets
