Job Title: Business Intelligence ("BI") Developer (On-Site)Location: Charlotte, North CarolinaFull Time Position

Job Description:
Requirements:Become intimately familiar with all data within the environment and develop an in-depth understanding of key business processes and needs.Understand and convert business requirements into technical specifications to transform raw data into meaningful insights that meets or exceeds the user's need within an agreed upon timeline. Work with end users to verify completeness and accuracy of the data presented in BI reports before publishing reports.Redefine, document, verify, and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing BI reports and processes.Create BI dashboards and interactive reports that take of drill-down capabilities and best-of-class visualization techniques that aid decision-making.Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor themCreate relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data modelsChart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relationsDesign, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analyticsPerform DAX queries and functions in Power BIAnalyze current ETL process, define and design new systemsData warehouse development and work with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRSCreate customize charts and custom calculations as per requirementsDesign, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needsSQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of dataWork with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestionsIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements related to the automation of manual processes, optimization of data delivery, and re-design infrastructure for greater scalability.Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experienceMinimum experience of 3 years working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, etc. is required. Experience would include creating data-rich dashboards, writing DAX expressions, and implementing row-level security in Power BI.Must be able to develop custom BI products that require knowledge of scripting languages and programming languages like R and Python. Additionally, familiarity with or desire to learn Jet Analytics will be of significant benefit.Sound knowledge of database management, SQL querying, data modeling, data warehousing, business intelligence, and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) is required. In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stacks such as Power Pivot, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is an added advantage.Understand the technical aspects as well as software development architecture to transform requirements into technical presence.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
