Position -MAC/PC Technician

Location: Addison, TX 75001

Duration: long term

Pay rate $25.00/hr on w2

100% onsite role

Location: Dallas, TX training first month, then location in Addison, Tx after.

Shift start time and end time? 8 - 5, OR 9-6 (TWO POSSIBLE SHIFTS)

Requirements

Must have experience with Installing, diagnosing, maintaining and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop & laptop computers, printers, network devices, standard software, and low-end servers at customer sites, and/or depot locationsWindows 10/11 and Mac Ventura, Monterey or Sonoma operating system experience in a professional settingCUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT

Day to Day Work:you will perform activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop & laptop computers, printers, network devices, standard software, and low-end servers at customer sites, and/or depot locations. This is a journeyman position for the typical desk side support technician. You will be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools. You will also apply personal knowledge to resolve product support issues that could not be addressed by service desk. Your assignments will range in complexity from troubleshooting and repair, to more difficult device repair, including reloading and re-imaging of PCs/laptops, and installing and optimizing HW/SW networking products.

ResponsibilitiesProvides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and serversProvides maintenance and support on legacy productsSupports Core, server productsPerforms disk replacement on enterprise storage productsInstalls and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripheralsSupports network products from operational and maintenance perspectivesPerforms installs, moves, adds and changes as requiredTests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applicationsProvides follow-up on problems or escalationMaintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dressInsures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transactionEnsures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system

This role requires both Windows 10/11 and Mac Ventura, Monterey or Sonoma operating system experience in a professional setting.
