Summary:The Special Programs Evaluations Assessments and Response (SPEAR) Wireless Security (WiSec) team is looking for a software development engineer (SDE) to help build its security services. WiSec is leveraging hardware and automation to scale its services worldwide, and it needs talented SDEs to help develop and deploy the infrastructure to support this project. As an SDE supporting WiSec, you will work with a team of engineers to design and create services that help run the team's cloud architecture.
The ideal candidate will have:
3-5 years of software development experienceDemonstrated proficiency in deploying AWS infrastructure as code is required.Experience deploying custom Greengrass components is required.Experience with Docker is required.Familiarity deploying custom Greengrass components and working with cross-component communication is required.Experience deploying and maintaining AWS resourcesFamiliarity with Stream Manager, IoT Analytics, MQTT, and Greengrass component monitoring/metrics is required.Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudTrailExpertise in Java and mobile application development experience is desired.
Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
