N Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Director - Messaging & Collaboration, the Senior Product Owner - Exchange/Email Security is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Exchange/Email Security infrastructure. They will work closely with IT teams, security professionals, and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the Exchange/Email Security environment. The Senior Product Owner builds and leverages strong partnerships across business, technology, and product leadership to implement innovative solutions within the Exchange/Email Security technologies. They will act as the product evangelist and subject matter expert and serve as the 'go to leader' for timely updates to internal and, where applicable, external customers. The role participates in an agile approach via standups, planning and processes. Success in this role requires strong leadership & strategic skills coupled with an astute understanding of the modern Exchange Online and Email Security landscape. Additionally, the successful candidate engages with the broader technology community and vendors to stay abreast of industry innovation that evolves the product offering and internal practices. CANDIDATE PROFILE Required: 6+ years' experience in IT, business, management operations, or related professional area, with a minimum of: 5+ years' experience with Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection (Defender) policy design and implementation. 5+ years' experience with Email Security Gateways and mail flow integration/management. 5+ years' experience with SMTP Relay services (Hosted and On-Premise) 3+ years designing, supporting solutions based on Office365 and other Collaboration Services 4+ years of demonstrated Product and/or Strategy experience. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively in a matrix-managed environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders, and other IT teams. Strong attention to detail with an ability to define product roadmaps and operate effectively across multiple priorities. Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (Exchange Online Support Engineer) 5+ years of experience managing third party and contract labor. Product management experience leading or managing platforms within a large, global organization. Ability to understand and navigate complex user and technical discussions, architectures, and dependent solutions. Demonstrated experience with Design Thinking Demonstrated experience with SAFE Agile CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Lead a cross-functional agile delivery team responsible for architecting, designing, and managing the delivery of the Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection (Defender) and SMTP Relay services. Establish product roadmaps, multi-year plans, and user stories. Manage risks, remediation plans, and other security related activities for responsible platforms. Act as the main point of contact for the delivery of the Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection (Defender) and SMTP Relay services. Conduct periodic reviews of capabilities and emerging technologies to ensure that Marriott has the right platforms to support end user experience monitoring and remote control. Collaborate with key partners and vendors to create alignment on roadmaps, use cases, capabilities, and product offerings. Leveraging Agile SAFE and Design Thinking, empathize and define requirements, asks, and requests; and evaluate/incorporate them against/into an app strategy and roadmap. Ideate and prototype with engineering partners and vendors to deliver on the app strategy and roadmap. Own the backlog, team management, and delivery of responsible platforms. Advocate for the end user by developing a deep empathy of their needs through research, feedback, and other methods. Meet regularly with security, stakeholders, and other team(s) to gather work statuses, discuss obstacles, provide guidance to ensure that deliverables are met timely and within budget. The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $179,270 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
