Position Summary
Oracle Health Consultants come with a wide variety of experience utilizing their technical expertise to lead clients through implementation, optimization, and enhancements of their Cerner system. They partner with healthcare professionals, IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of Cerner, enhance clinical and administrative workflows, and improve patient care outcomes.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consulting and subject matter expertise to client’s by assessing, identifying, and providing solutions to their Cerner System.
Provide guidance on workflows, system design, build, training, testing and integration points. changes and ongoing maintenance.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and data integrity.
Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and training..
Create user guides, manuals, and other educational resources to support learning and adoption.
Coordinate and manage project timelines, resources and deliverables during implementation and optimization projects.
Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation.
Work directly with Cerner end users. Monitor workflows, provide documentation, and optimization suggestions.
Maintain strong communication with PM, leader and team to promote a collaborate working environment.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Cerner JAVA Registration resource with hands-on knowledge of the Cerner Mileennium Practice Management (CPM) application.
Experience with workflow assessments, system design, DCWs, build, training, testing, and integration points with other Cerner Millennium solutions
Experience with go-live support and post-implementation optimization of the Cerner CPM application.
Proficiency in Cerner system configuration and support.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, PMP a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel weekly (typically Monday through Thursday) when necessary, however, at times you are required to provide high-level services remotely.
Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate Degree (e.g. BA, BS)
Previous consulting experience in the public sector healthcare industry
