Network Engineer III

on our Network Security Services (NSS) team.

TCS offers a long-term contract opportunity supporting our intelligence customer. Our team of talented Network and Cybersecurity professionals help design, develop, procure, implement, operate/sustain, and enhance NCE networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security.

What You'll Get to Do:

Work with both corporate and customer leadership to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide network security solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.

Assist with design, analysis, testing and implementation of state-of-the-art secure network architectures.

Conduct risk assessment and provide recommendations for design.

Manage WAN, LAN, CAN, and remote network security as well as incident and problem management.

Oversee security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration. (firewalls, F5 load balancers, web gateways, mail gateways, IDS, and management tools).

Oversee the reporting, documentation, and investigation of all security related incidents; lead the development and implementation of corrective measures.

Develop and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security tools.

Evaluate and report on new network Security technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Act as liaison to the contract and customer management, and government Designated Approving Authority (DAA) regarding network security status, policies, and procedures.

Travel up to 15% of the time CONUS, maybe occasional OCONUS

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

TS/SCI (current) Ability to successfully pass and maintain a Government Polygraph (post-hire requirement)

Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of technical experience in Network Security or Network Engineering with large-scale enterprise/global networks in high-paced, diverse environment. (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

Firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)

Routers/Switches (e.g. Juniper, Cisco, etc.)

Intrusion Detection Systems / IDS Products (e.g. F5 Load Balancer, Cisco FTD, etc.)

Unix, RHELS OS, Windows Enterprise AD, VMware, WAN/LAN/CAN

DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (current)DoD CSSP Infrastructure Support certification (current)

The likely salary range for this position is $84,068 - $113,740. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
