HPC Software Integration Engineer

Orbis Operations is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Required Clearance:
Active Security Clearance required at the Top Secret (TS)/Special Compartmented Information (SCI) level and appropriate level Polygraph
Role Description:
The successful candidate will provide expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment. This person will be responsible for test and integration support services, including the testing evaluation of the software performance and capability of next-generation HPCs and SPDs. Must be detailed oriented, have strong organizational skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills to include the identification and resolution of issues, problems, and trouble tickets related to the same.
Task Required Skills:
Experience using the Unix CLIExperience writing scripts using Bash/PythonGeneral HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage componentsExperience performing Unix System Administration tasks including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, file, network, and storage systemsExperience with Software Architecture/Engineering in software design, code development, and debugging in C/C++Experience with HPC open source parallel programming language toolsExperience with automating test proceduresSystem Testing experience in a Unix operating environmentExperience performing benchmarking and system testing in a large Unix environmentExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and AnsibleDesired Skills:
Experience with containerization technologies such as DockerAbility to develop, debug, and test applications based upon design and performance requirementsExperience with Unix cluster/node monitoring tools such as NHC (Node Health Check)Familiar with InfiniBand network communicationsFamiliar with parallel file systems such as LustreExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 8 years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment OR13 years of demonstrable experience.OR
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field plus 6 years' experience.Level 4
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 10 years of demonstrable experience OR15 years of demonstrable experience.OR
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8 years' experience.
