The analyst is responsible for ensuring that the City Schools Engagement Department has the information and tools they need to set goals, monitor progress, provide high quality services, and achieve objectives. S/he will be also responsible for tracking the alignment of engagement initiatives and activities with state, school board, and district priorities as well as with relevant district policies including but not limited to KCA (Family & Community Engagement), ADA (Equity), ADH (Community Schools), KCB (Partnerships), and KCD (Public Gifts & Donations).Essential Functions

Establishes progress monitoring systems to track key performance indicators across teams including for implementation of Title I, ESSER ARP, Concentration of Poverty and other Grant requirementsContributes to the maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using a variety of tools and techniques to support engagement initiatives.Analyzes data and provide accessible information to support strategic planning, budgeting, and evaluation.Manages project plans and schedules required to successfully complete all data and evaluation projects on time.Effectively collaborates with multiple stakeholders (research partners, school staff, central office staff, and community stakeholders) to create and share accessible data on family and community engagement.Ensures alignment between engagement initiatives and state, board and district priorities, and relevant engagement policies.Creates presentations to share progress, data, and information in partnership with engagement teams.Documents and shares best practices based on local and national research.Supports program evaluation activities, including management of evaluation partners and consultants.Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and nondiscrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board polices and the professional standards.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Policy, Public Health, Social Work, and/or related field including coursework in research design, statistics, research methodology, qualitative research techniques, computer programming, or related areas required. Master's Degree preferred. Degree must be from an accredited college or institution.At least three years of experience with program evaluation including managing data sets and project planning.Knowledgeable about Title I, family engagement, and community schools.Experience in quickly summarizing and reporting data, including experience in data management, data cleansing, analysis and report writing demonstrated by fluency with statistical programming packages (R preferred), and/or advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookup procedures and complex formulas with nested logic).Knowledge of quantitative design and experience with descriptive, inferential, and item statistics.Knowledge of qualitative methodologies including interviews, focus groups, observations, and document analysis.Experience with quantitative and qualitative program evaluation methodologies.Experience with visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or other.

Demonstrated understanding of process management and project management principles.Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Advanced skills in Excel required.Ability to work effectively in high-paced environment, with deadlines, and multiple stakeholder viewpoints.
