Description:
As a Game Designer II, you'll report directly to the design leads and be front and center in defining the direction of our game. You will design and create new Champion and adventure content. Your analysis, player insight, and creativity will help craft in-game experiences that engage and surprise players. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work with every tool at hand to design and iterate player-focused designs that'll delight players around the world!Duties:Design new Champions, powers, adventures, and other types of content for The Path of ChampionsUnderstand the relevant audiences for the game, and from this, calibrate your design expertise to reflect appropriate taste for these audiencesUse data and sense-making to identify opportunities to improve the player experience in PvE contentArticulate and consider a scope and depth of possible solutions, including possible resulting consequences, and collaboratively reach the best solutionImplement card, adventure, and power content with our scripting toolsImprove existing design frameworks, our approaches to design, and create new onesWork with other designers, insights, product, and narrative to provide the best holistic solutionsOpenly share work and seek feedback from other developers. Combine co-worker and player feedback to calibrate design directionRequired QualificationsAt least 2 years experience as a professional game designerExperience working with or playing strategy gamesDesired QualificationsExperience with scripting languages making contentKnowledge of card games and their featuresExperience tuning and balancing strategy game contentBroad mechanics and systems design abilityOur benefits package includes:
