Our focus is on providing effective technology value streams, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and ongoing professional growth.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Boulder, CO. In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled team to develop and maintain secure, high-performance systems both on-premises and in cloud environments. You will play a key role in building and managing DevOps pipelines, infrastructure, and environments, while working with vendors to support critical missions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.Implement and manage secure CI/CD processes, automation, and integration for on-premises and cloud-based systems.Collaborate with vendors to integrate and deploy software applications in support of government missions.Work with Rancher and PlatformOne's Big Bang architecture for efficient infrastructure management.Contribute to all phases of the system lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance.Required QualificationsActive U.S. Secret Clearance or higher.Strong understanding of DoD DevSecOps and Agile principles.Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of professional experience, or 11+ years of relevant experience without a degree.At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.Proficiency with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, or similar.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform.Background in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) environments.Experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools.Proficiency with Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL 8 or 9.Knowledge of Unix scripting languages (bash, tcsh, ksh).Familiarity with version control and workflow tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.Experience with AWS or other cloud monitoring tools.Ability to work with diverse vendor development teams for seamless integration and deployment.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge or experience with Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) programs.Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and/or C2S environments.Understanding of test automation and GitLab CI/CD.Experience with static analysis tools (Fortify, SonarQube).Experience supporting AI/ML applications.Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes deployments.Experience with VMware virtualized hosts.Basic network diagnostics skills.BenefitsGenerous PTO, including vacation, personal, and sick days.Eight paid holidays plus two floating holidays per year.Flexible work schedule and family leave.Parental leave for new parents.Discretionary bi-annual bonus based on performance.Healthcare coverage through a Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (QSEHRA).Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).401K retirement plan with immediate vesting.Paid training and conference attendance.Phone plan reimbursement.
