Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as requiredWhat You'll Need:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 21 years or olderValid U.S. Driver's License for the past three yearsPossess valid authorization to work in the State of Arizona and the United StatesNo DUI's or DWI's or Reckless driving in the past 5 yearsNo combination of two DUIs, DWIs or Reckless Driving in the past five (5) years of driving historyMust be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screeningMust pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record checkEven better if you have...
Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area
