Client Job Description
Foresight Strategy is a data agency based in Minneapolis, MN with global clients/reach. They focus on brand growth for their clients (such as Coca-Cola, Johnson&Johnson, Kellogg's, Kimberly Clark, and eBay) through deep data analytics and growth modeling. They blend strategy, dynamic modeling, statistical analysis, and decision science. This is an opportunity for a passionate Data Analyst with strategic project experience to plug into their organization and team, start delivering findings and insights right away, and interface with global brands! Foresight has a start-up feel and size; they've been operating since 2011 and their client engagements have grown tremendously in the last two years. They need more hands and help.
Responsibilities:
run diagnostics and synthesize results and findingsshort term projects/engagements (2-4 months usually), opportunity for
lots of variety with data , tools, technologiesestablish trust with clients,
polished communication , executive presence for proposals and workshopsproject initiation through delivery: assess and analyze data, think critically and creatively answer questions, solve problems, and make recommendations to the internal team as well as external clientsMust Have Qualifications:
3-4+ years experiencestrong data education and practical experienceadvanced/comfortable with
large data sets , excited to dig into robust data and navigate/transformintermediate-advanced in
Excel : (e.g. Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, OFFSET, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF, etc.)a blend of execution and "head-down" analytics with
creative problem solving /solutioning/brainstormingcreate
business case models and projections
- turn this into a client facing tool/deliverableculture fit would be: confident but
humble, curious
and creative, passionate about how data drives
business decisions , sense of urgency, can carry a diverse workload and
naturally prioritize effortsdo not focus on data visualization, this is rarely their workPreferred Qualifications:
experience with
Rexperience delivering tools and insights to a variety of stakeholders, even executive-levelhas delivered on strategic projects or worked with a strategic firm previously (ex: EY, PwC, BCG, McKinsey)naturally organized and detail-orientedeven-keel personality, even when deadlines are pressing or leadership is worked up
