A growing technology firm in lower Westchester is looking to add a Software Developer who can support programming, writing and/or editing technical specifications, contributing and reviewing code, and helping manage off-shore development. The company has been in business for over twenty years and is a leader in its field. We're looking for a dynamic and versatile Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team. We can offer flexible working conditions after a period of time, but initially expect you to be in the office to learn about the company, its products and people. We are committed to delivering and preserving value.Position Responsibilities will include:Develop C# applications for Windows and Android/iOS using .NET 8Write technical specifications used to guide offshore developmentHelp manage developers including contributing to and reviewing their code.Contribute to software architecture and APIsFront-end application development on iOS and Android platformsBasic troubleshooting/support of our products both in-house and via remote software sessionsIdeal Candidate Qualifications:Self Learner - ability and interest in learning new skills and technologyBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 4+ years of experience in software development.Good problem solving, customer service and communication skillsProficiency with Git and advanced Git ToolingApplication development (iOS and Android, Windows, Linux)Microsoft Visual Studio C# and Xamarin for mobile developmentExperience in database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.Experienced in configuring and managing Azure cloud services, including setting up App Services, Storage Accounts, VMs, and databases.
