Job Description
Overview:
Here's what you'll do:Perform all duties in a safe mannerMust be able to drive a forklift in a safe, efficient, and competent mannerMust be able to understand RF ScannersHas responsibility for making sure that the warehouse is in prime condition and ready for everyday operationsOperator is not limited to cleaning and sweeping the facility upon requestAccurately update rack locations for all product putaway while following FIFO (first in, first out) methodMust be able to rack product in 3 level racking systemAccurately account for all product when receiving inbounds (notification is required for all discrepancies encountered)Assure product requiring quality inspection at inbounds is segregated and located to QC area (Per item/Per lot basis)Must fulfill orders by loading accurate counts and process partials when neededMust fulfill orders by loading product within company standards (no broken and/or damaged product)Required to segregate and request quality inspection for any product that exceeds trigger days prior to loadingPerform truck inspections and accurately fill out inbound/outbound truck inspection forms.Required to "stop work" when identifying any safety and/or food safety concernsBe required to fulfill orders in the RF scanners (process splits, tasks, mod-cancel). •Perform and verify inventory cycle countsMay be required to lift up to 50 lbs from time-to-timeOther related dutiesQualifications
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
Must have at least 1 year of experience operating a standup forklift / heavy machineryMust be able to safely operate a forklift in confined areas with high levels of trafficMust be able to do field level maintenance of forkliftMust be willing and able to perform other general repair, maintenance and loading tasks as will be assigned from time to time due to workload levelMust be able to stack palletized commodities safelyMust be able to rack up to 3 levelsMust have 2 year experience in warehouse environmentHave good math skillsBe able to handle multi-tasksBe detail orientedHave good communication skillsBe able to work well with othersAdditional Information
