Job Description:

As a Mover with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' belongings are handled with care and transported safely. Your key responsibilities will include:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading:

Expertly load and unload furniture and materials, using padding and ropes to protect items from damage.Equipment Operation:

Operate forklifts, mechanical lift gates, and platforms to handle materials safely.Furniture Arrangement:

Arrange desks, chairs, and other office furniture according to specific instructions.Setup for Events:

Set up furniture and equipment for classrooms and special events, meeting all required standards.Driving Responsibilities:

Safely drive and maneuver large moving trucks to transport materials and equipment.Snow Removal:

Perform snow removal as needed, following safety guidelines.Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain equipment and supplies properly, promoting safety and environmental practices.General Maintenance:

Carry out maintenance tasks, custodial duties, and trash removal as needed.Customer Communication:

Act as a point of contact for customer communications, ensuring clear and professional interactions.Coordination and Scheduling:

Effectively coordinate and schedule moves and events for timely execution.Additional Responsibilities:

Be flexible and adaptable, taking on additional duties as required.Qualifications:

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and use proper lifting techniques.Driving Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with box trucks preferred.Customer Service Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients and team members.Reliability:

Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.Team Player:

Collaborative spirit and support for colleagues in achieving shared goals.Attention to Detail:

Ability to follow instructions precisely and handle items with care.Work Days:
