The parts driver is the front line of our parts business and must have the ability to represent our company in a professional manner while delivering parts to our customers safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;Maintain safe driving habits at all times, obey all traffic laws, and follow company safety guidelines.Inspect the company vehicle dailyDeliver parts and pick up returnsMaintain a driver's log throughout the dayVerify delivery loads and communicate discrepancies to warehouseCommunicate professionally and properly to customers during deliverRequirements
Skills required to be a successful Hot Shot Parts Delivery Driver include but are not limited to;
Valid driver's license with good driving historyVerify/read alpha and numeric part number sequencesAbility to apply basic math calculations to transactions involving U.S. currencyWrite clearly to record transactions and communicate to operationsCommunicate via cell phone and/or NextelAble to lift up to 50 lbs
