Description

The Warehouse Associate will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickupMaintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given timeFollow any special instructions pertaining to an individual orderReceive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through auditsReport any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate personCommunicate positively with supervisors, staff, fellow workers, deliveries/pick-up personal.Operate a forklift/pallet jack safely and efficiently, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisorAssist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficientlyProcess returns accuratelyFollow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplaceAttend product knowledge meetings as required by managementPresent a neat and professional imageAssist in keeping facility secureMaintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as requiredFollow company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Accuracy and attention to detailRecognizes and understands product numbers and alpha/numeric codesOperates forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirementsUnderstands basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking proceduresAble to work independently with some directionCapable of following written instructions and documented proceduresComfortable in fast-paced environmentAble to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Team player who works productively with wide range of peopleManages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing prioritiesEffective listening, verbal and written communication skillsAble to multi-taskBasic computer/keyboarding skillsStand/walk for duration of work hoursLift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs.)Pass a drug screen and background checkEducation: High school diploma/GED preferredExperience: Minimum 1 year in similar position preferred
