Job Description
Cloud Infrastructure EngineerResponsibilities:• Provide support for cloud infrastructure issues, including incident response and root cause analysis.• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.• Manage the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure components.• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.• Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance and cost.• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for cloud services.• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure integrated and cohesive cloud operations.
Requirements:• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly in Azure and AWS.• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormation.• Experience with cloud-native services and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Opsramp, Grafana, Splunk).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning, including automated backup processes and data restoration Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks (Azure and AWS)
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional. Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell or others.
• Knowledge or Certification in FinOps is a plus (Knowledge of cloud cost management, optimization strategies, and tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or GCP Cost Management.)
• English speaker fluent or native
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
