Responsibilities:Provide Support to Developers in remediating web applications due to upgrade of middleware components such as Apache,Tomcat,Weblogic on Linux, OpenShift and AWS platformJenkins pipeline integration and AutomationWork with Engineering and Infrastructure build teams to fix any middleware issuesConfigure middleware instancesUnderstand the structure and workflow of the web applications that are being worked onTroubleshoot and perform problem analysis during development, testing and Production deploymentIdentify Break points and provide solutions during upgrade.Provide Clear documentation on solutions and operational steps.Develop implementation plans for UAT and production Deployment.Participate in Weekend Prod deployment activitiesWork with Middleware and Openshift Admin teams to configure and test the new changes on ApplicationsDebug issues related to environments deployed on Docker / KubernetesEssential Skills:
6-9 years of strong middleware administration experience using Technologies such as Weblogic, Tomcat and ApacheDevelop, build and deploy Microservices on Openshift Container Platform, setup autoscaling and performance tuning.Good experience in AWS DevOps Tools for Build and Deploy MicroservicesGood experience in Docker and KubernetesBasic understanding of Java/J2EE development experience is preferredStrong scripting knowledge on Ansible and GroovyStrong understanding of end-to-end web applications architecture especially the middleware tierExperience in WebLogic version upgrade using WLST scriptsExtensive experience in configuring various middleware components on linuxStrong troubleshooting skill and familiarity with debugging toolsUnderstanding of security infrastructure for authentication and authorization is highly desirableEssential Qualification:
Bachelors is a must
