We seek someone to help maintain Kingsmill's computer and network systems through troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, setting up computer networks, and assisting employees and customers with IT-related problems. The ideal candidate will possess sound technical knowledge to understand and relay effective problem-solving solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organizationUse of IT trouble ticket system, Request Tracker (RT), to address IT-related service requests from ticket creation through completionEscalate trouble issues to appropriate next-tier support vendors or internal support staff to resolve them cooperatively and efficiently.Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systemsRepairing and replacing damaged computer and network componentsMaintain and deployment of Point of Sale (POS) workstations.Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall softwareSupporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devicesMaintaining and updating technical documentation regularlyTesting new hardware and software before full-scale installationOther Duties as assignedQualifications:

Proven work experience in IT support or IT technician rolesIT Technician Certification or equivalent work experienceDemonstrated knowledge of information technology troubleshooting toolsProblem-solving skills and technical documentation skillsIn-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and networksPractical experience with Internet and network security protocolsOrganizational and interpersonal skillsCommand of the English language is required.The position requires a flexible work schedule, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.Must have a professional presentation and strong customer service skillsMust have proven job stability through a solid work historyAbility to stand for long periods and lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.Must be at least 18 years of age.Other Duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:

OPERA Property Management Solutions (PMS) system experience preferred.EZSuite Point of Sale (POS) system experience preferred.
