Position Summary:

The

Imaging Informatics Team Lead

will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of the ACR's imaging infrastructure to include a VNA (Vendor Neutral Archive), viewers and their databases. This role will also support the development of junior engineers on the imaging team, serving as a resource and escalation point. This role requires a thorough understanding of the DICOM standard including both file formats, interfaces, and workflow. Root cause analysis of issues, thorough documentation and the ability to train other engineers, staff and users is key to the success of this role. Coordination with ACR's vendors on requirements and testing of product features and functionality is also managed by this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Function as a DICOM SME; understanding vendor integrations, IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise), and DICOM conformance statements, to assist users with data integrity and operational workflow.Design and scope the installation and configuration of medical imaging software per project requirements.Ensure GCP (Good Clinical Practice) documentation is up-to date and validation activities align with Imaging workflow and project scope.Ensure team maintains optimal uptime and efficiency with data workflow to maintain the integrity of the systems, data structure, and provide consistency.Identify process improvement opportunities, developing opportunities for future training and the need for new tools.Assist management with budgetary requests and scope for upcoming projects.Provides oversight, leadership and mentoring to a team of 2-3 Informatics professionals.Work with vendors to manage licensing and contract needs.Qualifications and Minimum Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, or related field requiredMaster degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, or related field preferred

8+ years of related Medical/IT/Informatics experience requiredExperience with Cloud Solutions, SQL, AI/ML, and Data Science concepts requiredNetworking and database experience required.Strong Understanding of VNA, DICOM, IHE, Radiology workflow, Informatics, and standards-based data flow of radiology, radiation oncology and hospital information systems preferredExperience with HL7, FHIR, DICOM Web, AWS, JIRA preferredCIIP preferredDetailed oriented, excellent communication (written & verbal), and a team player are non-negotiables

This position will work a Remote schedule. When working remotely, workers must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management, and be highly organized. Reliable internet connection is a must!

ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably. It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the annual compensation range for this position is $106,400 – $149,000.
