Senior Data Engineer sought by DISH Wireless, LLC. in Littleton, CO. Support automated deployment and management on a cloud native environment. Collect, extract, transform and make available large amounts of data for observability, analysis, and increasing availability. Mentor junior engineers and new team members and apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems. Develop high-volume, low-latency, data-driven solutions utilizing current and next generation technologies to meet evolving business needs. Establish standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of information, advanced data analytics, and text mining models and physical data persistence technologies. Acquire big data input from numerous partners. Normalize complicated data sources to convert potentially unusable data into a format that can be efficiently used by software and/or employees. Maintain a CI/CD pipeline for data software to ensure we keep quality high and
Job requirements:
Requires: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical degree plus 4 years of relevant experience in the job offered or as Software Developer II / Software Engineer II. Also requires 4 years of experience using/with the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) concepts. Querying and designing databases using MySQL, MS SQL and Oracle SQL
