A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for a Software Developer for a 6-12 month contract..

Please note that this role is ideally hybrid, but remote work is allowed.

Pay rate range: $64.00/hr - $74.00/hr

Requirements and skills5+ years of experience with .NET framework3+ years of experience with .NET core5+ years of experience with Web API Development (Azure)3+ years of experience with React or Angular FrameworkAbility to integrate with 3rd Party REST APIsExperience with Microsoft Language Understanding (LUIS) or other language servicesExperience with .Net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQueryExperience with Azure (Key Vault, App configuration, Cosmos DB, SQL, Bot Channel, Application Insights, Telemetry)Experience with Azure CI/CD for .net applicationsExperience with Language ServicesSelf-motivated with ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines without frequent supervisionStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environmentPreferred Skills

We are currently seeking a Software developer with strong communications skills, to work with our existing IT delivery team to design, develop, test and implement key functional enhancements based on business requirements from our product owners.The ideal candidate has strong communication and problem-solving skills, can help foster relationships, facilitate and coordinate standard project operations and support and drive excellence.The ideal candidate will have experience developing on the Microsoft Bot Framework and LUIS.Experience with chatbot creation is a plus.The successful candidate will have the ability to integrate with REST APIs to deliver business capabilities that reduce calls to the call center by offering more digital self-service options.The candidate will work with the team to reduce calls to the call center by offering more digital self-service optionsAbout us:
