Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to join the mainframe division at a leading client in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for creating, testing, ensuring the quality of and maintaining a product or product line. The R&D Software Engineer 4 will perform complex code modification, testing, and debugging tasks, as well as provide high level analysis related to software design and development. The person in this role is expected to act as a technical lead within a small team, advising, mentoring and coaching more junior developers and partnering with stakeholders such as Product Owners, Solution Architects etc.

Mainframe concepts
Familiar with QA and DevOps concepts and practices such as test automation, CI/CD etc.
Experience working on or with Automation tools
HLASM Experience
Java Experience
Bachelor's degree o Experience in C, Javascript, Typescript, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, REST, Web Services, WebSockets, API development
o Angular, Node.js, Express.js
o Familiarity with web service security
o RHEL, CentOS
o Jenkins, Gradle, npm, Artifactory, Cypress null
