DATA ENGINEER
to support a client in
Herndon, VA . We support a broad range of IC and DoD clients, though a common theme across our portfolio is that our team members, regardless of their role, interact with the end users around the globe.

Responsibilities
This work requires data engineering to support an extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipeline. This includes creating custom workflows to manage and conflate disparate datasets, analyzing and integrating disparate data with standard ontologies, and supporting a separate data science team in data evaluations. This job requires the applicant to be successful working individually and with a small group.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly required to startPython (1+ year)SQL and relational databases (1+ year)At least 3 years of combined experience with data engineering tools to include (but not limited to): Apache NiFi, Apache AirFlow, Apache Hive, Power BIDesired Qualifications:
Experience manipulating and managing spatial data in a databaseExperience summarizing data in dashboard tools such as tableau, grafana, or custom built applicationsExperience reviewing data in a GUI GIS tool such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, etcExperience creating cloud implementations of complex data workflows
